We’re huge fans of Oliver Kite, an English sportsman who broadcast a literate Fly Fishing show in England during the 60′s. Whenever we discover a forgotten episode, we like to share. As style mavens we are always interested in the classic English looks of the day.
Enjoy!

This time of year finds us on the phone and email answering questions about our cotton seersucker and poplin suits for summer weddings. Cotton suiting is fast becoming the suit of choice for grooms getting married….. the cool, crisp fabric fits the mood and is the right look for those summertime occasions.
Recently we ran across a blog about a Wisconsin wedding set in an antique barn…. and a beautiful bride….. and not surprisingly, a groom dressed in seersucker.
The cotton suit was perfect for the setting!

Corbin Trouser Co. was founded in 1947 by Nathaniel Corbin as a men’s trouser company. What happened over the next 60 years was a transformation of the “trousers only” manufacturer into a full service mens manufacturer featuring trousers, suits and sport coats. During that time the Corbin name became synonymous with quality natural shoulder clothing —- sold in only the best traditional stores.
The fit of Corbin trousers is a traditional fit– not to big or small. The Corbin coats are a slightly forward natural shoulder, darted front silhouette. The look is timeless and the quality is superb.
American Suit Store is now offering Corbin’s fine line of clothing— ready to be shipped to your home. Visit today!
