Pinterest is the latest social media phenom that is monopolizing people’s time. In the beginning it was the venue of brides-to-be, wanna be gourmet cooks and of course, fashionistas. For a time in the 90′s this was my favorite sport coat, a pleated belted back, bellows pocket, 2btn coat by Samuelsohn.

Then a terrible thing happened—– I gained weight and moved up a size. Each time I cleaned out the closet for the Disabled Veterans I would put my hand on this coat only to draw it away—– back in my mind I believed I would lose weight and be able to wear this old favorite again.
And it happened—– with the addition of a walking partner I began a daily regiment of exercise and a better job of watching what I ate—–lost weight and a size—- and now I have welcomed this classic back into my wardrobe. Looks great with cords, khakis and jeans—– along with gab trousers—– hopefully it will stay around for many years.
